Hi, I’m Angela- wife, cat mom, lifelong artist, and the creator behind Aphantastic Designs (pronounced ay-fan‑tass‑tick), a proudly disabled, women‑owned small business where meaningful messages meet premium quality.

I’ve been doing graphic design since high school, but Aphantastic Designs began in the simplest way: I started making stickers for my husband, who is a huge sticker lover. The problem? Everything I ordered peeled, faded, or fell apart, so I set out to find the best vinyl stickers available. Stickers that are durable, vibrant, weatherproof, dishwasher-safe and worthy of the messages I wanted to share. That search became a passion, and that passion became this shop.

My work focuses on chronic illness, disability, human rights, environmental care, and equity because these issues shape my life and the lives of so many others. What Drives Me

I believe everyone deserves healthcare. I believe people should be free to love who they love. I believe animals deserve compassion. I believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion-not as buzzwords, but as daily practice.

I use recycled and compostable packaging for my on‑hand stickers because sustainability matters. My values are part of everything I create.

What Drives My Art

In 2023, I learned I have aphantasia, which means my imagination works without pictures (a neurodivergence, not a disability). I don’t see images in my mind, so design software like Sketchbook Pro and Canva became my way of finally bringing ideas to life. Aphantastic Designs is named for that journey: creating without mental imagery, yet still creating boldly.

My art is shaped by the life I’ve lived. I’ve survived thyroid cancer, sepsis, kidney failure, and more. I live with Ehlers Danlos and chronic conditions that keep me grounded, grateful, and motivated. These experiences fuel my advocacy and my creativity.

Other threads woven into my work:

All of it shows up in my designs- sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, but always with intention.
